What Does The Role Entail :
- Working as part of our global marketing team, we are seeking a Website Developer to take us to the next level in website design and development.
- With support from our digital, demand, comms and creative teams, we are looking for a proactive, experienced team member to oversee the design, development and optimisation of our company website.
- The Website Developer will be responsible for ensuring the website aligns with our brand identity, meets the needs of our target audience, and supports our business objectives.
As the website owner you will :
- Manage all aspects of the company website, including content updates, design changes, and functionality enhancements.
- Ensure the Gain.pro website delivers positive brand credibility & trust, and promotes strong messaging for a global audience while providing an excellent user experience.
- Conduct regular website audits and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Utilize analytics to track performance and guide optimization.
- Deliver consistent website enhancement and development based on testing and learning
- Implement strategies to increase traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates.
- Working with the digital team, Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and organic search performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital marketing, demand, comms and product teams, to align website strategies with overall business goals.
- Drive change through best practices ensuring the Gain.pro site delivers what our audience needs
What do you need to join us :
The Technical :
- Proficiency in web design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Framer, Wordpress, & Figma.
- Strong understanding of Web UI development (HTML5, CSS, JS, TypeScript, React)
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and the ability to create designs that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
- Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles to create intuitive and visually appealing websites.
- Understanding web standards and SEO best practices ensuring designs are optimised for search engines and accessible to all users.
The Creative :
- Creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics, including layout, colour, typography, and branding, to produce original and compelling designs with absolute attention to detail and consistency
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members, and stakeholders to bring visions to life.
The Person :
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices.
- A test-first approach to Web Development
- Analytical thinker and team player with strong communication skills
- Experimentation and fast learning approaches to design
- Self-starter and independent with the ability to get things done with very little reliance on external resources
