Position Title: Deputy Manager - Tool Design (Press Tool or Mould) Work Location: Vadodara Educational Qualification & Exp: Diploma/B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/NTTF) with 2 - 6 yrs of experience. Key Deliverables: * Tool Design of Moulds (Injection and Compression) for electrical, automotive applications * Collaborate with R&D, NPI/LCM, customers for feasibility studies and part refinement * Develop tooling concepts, tool layouts for single and multicavity tooling with and without Hot runner systems * Perform tool design calculations and develop designs and drafting in 3D CAD * Apply CAE for Polymer Rheology to Validate tool element reliability * Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure tool designs are feasible and cost-effective Functional Competencies: * Proven experience as a Mould Designer proficient in Injection mould design for single and multicavity HRS and Non-HRS moulds for Engineering Plastics. * Experience in compression moulding will be added advantage. * Proficiency in CREO and CAE software for Moulds * Knowledge of Short Cycle time Mould design will be added advantage * In-depth knowledge of Moulding machines, moulded part production processes and experience with thermoplastic. * Experience with thermoset plastics will be added advantage.
