To partner with us in this exciting journey and unlock new values for the business, we are looking for passionate professionals in the position of Lead Compliance Management & Environment Monitoring, Vedanta Jharsuguda.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: -


  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Environmental Compliance Management Program
  • Stay current on all applicable environmental laws and regulations
  • Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify and address any potential compliance issues
  • Oversee the implementation of environmental monitoring programs, including air, water, and waste sampling
  • Analyze environmental data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain training programs to educate employees on environmental compliance procedures
  • Manage and maintain a database of environmental permits and compliance records
  • Identify opportunities to improve environmental performance and implement sustainable practices
  • Work collaboratively with various departments across the organization to ensure compliance


CRITERIA:


  • 60% and above throughout the education
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing environmental compliance programs
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes
  • Experience with environmental monitoring methodologies and data analysis
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and environmental management software
