Role Description

We are looking for an Operations lead with an eye for quality and attention to detail to help us run operations for Supernan. Broadly, the role has these responsibilities:

  • Manage parent interactions: The Operation lead also responds to all enquiries related to the app or on the phone. Our operations lead makes parents feel like they are speaking to someone just like them in terms of thought process, language, and fairness of interactions/solutions to their problems.
  • Manage the nanny hiring process: get good quality people to join the company, only people that you would pick for your own children
  • Keep improving the company: we are a startup, and we are solving for the massive problem of reliable childcare. While solving for this, there is no silver bullet but there are the little experiments that we do every day. We need your active effort in thinking of and executing improvements in every aspect, from the apps to the recruitment, training, and bookings.
  • Co-ordinate video-call interactions between parents and nannies : Ensure the interviews between parents and nannies are conducted in an efficient and seamless manner.
  • Conflict resolution : Provide solutions to parent grievances and solve any issues parents have with the nannies in a fair and transparent manner.
  • Manage nanny operations: Ensuring high-quality childcare as we scale.


Qualifications


  • Experience in managing people
  • Proficient in English, Kannada and Hindi.
  • Proactive and self-motivated. Great at planning and doing things independently.
  • Knowledge of childcare and implementing systems to be the best in the world at it.
  • Proficiency in app-related operations and maps, email, office, etc.
  • Operations Management, Scheduling, and Customer Service skills
  • Good knowledge of the geography and areas of Bangalore



PS: Mothers are welcome and, in fact, preferred at Supernan. This is a company built by parents, for parents.


We actively promote WFH as that is most sustainable option for parents. We don’t physically meet unless we truly need to (like trainings, reviews, or celebrations).


This is a full time role but there are no fixed “work hours”, work and home-life tend to have “hotspots” and we try to make sure they don’t collide.


Salary Range: 25K-35K per month including incentives.
