Purpose of the Role

To provide uninterrupted Business continuity across all the applications used by the business.

Lead new projects and act as a SPOC between Business and IT, for driving all new change requests focused on business improvement.

Provide day to day support to business users and help in error resolutions by coordinating with the required stake holders.

Track and monitor the business applications and coordinate with Vendors on issue resolutions.

Activities Performed by the Role

Propose simplification of processes across systems supporting business

Improve operations support and service desk SLAs

Review with Application vendors on upgrades / support and issue resolutions.

Provide support and guidance on new project implementation and enhancement projects

Be the interface to business for resolving issues and solution provided on SAP

Oversee and manage daily operational issues and applications supporting Business

Guide Team members in preparing support documents and testing business applications.

Propose and implement improvements in the daily operational support processes

Be the interface to business for resolving issues and solution provided on SAP

working with a large number of stakeholders and ability to get things done smoothly irrespective of challenges

Coordinating with RCP team to get things done smoothly irrespective of challenges

Working with internal and external vendors on new developments and issue resolutions

Prepare analysis across various IT landscape elements

Review and provide support in managing the security and Governance through Authorization controls

Work with the Central IT team, Business Stakeholders and vendors to take Projects to closure and on time

Identify structure the necessary team for supporting business IT requirements

Define IT Strategy and Roadmap as per Business Strategy

Provide execution rigor to all projects

Implement IT processes and Best practices

Key Performance Indicators & Outcomes:


Deliverables & timelines as per business requirement

Project Management and Integration with new applications

Adherence & compliance to statutory audits

Monitoring of Issue resolutions within set SLA's

Ensure business continuity with minimum system down time
