Looks after Business Development & Market Expansion, Retail & Corporate Sales, Cross Border Remittances, Outward Remittances, Strategic Alliances, Revenue Generation & Profitability, Client Relationship Management, Market Analysis & Strategic Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management and Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of forex remittance officers and support staff.
Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to the team to ensure efficiency and professionalism.
Set team goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
Forex Remittance Operations:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Forex remittance services, ensuring smooth processing and timely delivery of services to clients.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and minimize errors.
Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and other partners to ensure seamless remittance operations.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure that all remittance transactions comply with the regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), and other relevant laws.
Monitor changes in Forex regulations and ensure the department's compliance.
Develop and implement internal control mechanisms to mitigate risks and prevent fraud.
Business Development and Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Identify and explore new business opportunities within the Forex remittance sector.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote remittance services and attract new clients.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present reports on remittance volumes, revenue, compliance status, and operational performance to senior management.
Analyze financial data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for business growth.
Oversee budget management, including cost control and resource allocation.
Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders:
Collaborate with other departments (finance, legal, marketing) to ensure alignment and smooth functioning of remittance services.
