Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Development Head to lead our dynamic team of 20 developers. The ideal candidate should have 10 to 20 years of experience in software development, preferably from a product-based company. The Development Head will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our SAAS platform and ensuring its successful integration with various external systems.


This role requires a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, as well as expertise in next-generation tech stacks.

Responsibilities :

Functional :

- Lead and manage a team of 15 to 20 developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

- Define and execute the technical strategy for our SAAS platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Oversee the design and development of both front-end and back-end components of the platform.

- Ensure the seamless integration of our platform with 3rd party CRM's, payroll systems, HR systems, and other external systems.

- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, coding standards, and best practices.

- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and next-generation tech stacks to drive innovation.

Technical :

- Hands-on experience with technologies & solutions like Apache, Druid, Golang, Python .

- Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, with the ability to lead by example.

- Strong expertise in designing and architecting complex, scalable SAAS solutions with hands on experience in :

Frontend :React or Angular

Backend : Node.js or Python, MongoDB or PostgreSQL, GraphQL

Cloud and Infrastructure : Amazon Web Services , Docker and Kubernetes ,DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

Monitoring and Logging : Prometheus and Grafana

Security : OWASP Top Ten

Container Orchestration and Deployment : Docker Swarm or AWS ECS

- Experience in building and managing high-performing development teams.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering SAAS products to market.

- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize code for performance and scalability.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 10 to 20 years of experience in software development.

- Previous experience in a leadership role within a product-based company is highly preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Results-oriented with a focus on driving excellence and innovation.
