JobDescription
As an IT Project Manageryou will play a pivotal role in supporting current environmentprojects and workloads typically 23 concurrent projects. Yourresponsibilities will focus on supporting current operational andcompliance related projects freeing up current resources to focuson a new initiative.
Project management skills will be needed in projectplanning execution and stakeholder management. Youll collaborateclosely with crossfunctional teams to ensure a seamless transitionwhile adhering to timelines budgets and quality standards. PMBOKknowledge preferred. No formal methodology is required butexperience with Waterfall or Agile is a plus.
KeyResponsibilities
Project Planning andManagement:
Develop and maintain acomprehensive project plan that outlines the scope schedule budgetand resource requirements for the ERP modernizationinitiative.
Establish a project team defineroles and responsibilities and create a communicationplan.
Monitor project progress identify risksand proactively address any deviations from the plan.
Project and budget tracking in ServiceNow or similarsystems
StakeholderManagement:
Work closely with stakeholdersincluding the executive team department managers IT personnel andendusers.
Understand organizational requirementsand objectives related to the ERP system.
Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholderscommunicate project updates and manage expectations.
Budget Management:
Define and manage the project budget tracking coststhroughout the implementation.
Collaborate withstakeholders to identify costsaving opportunities and developcontingency plans.
RiskManagement:
Identify potential risks associatedwith the migration process.
Develop riskmitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution ofissues.
Implement risk assessment response andmonitoring mechanisms.
Resource Management:
Oversee projectresources including project team members vendors andcontractors.
Ensure the team is appropriatelystaffed trained and motivated to achieve projectobjectives.
ChangeManagement:
Facilitate change across theorganization by promoting awareness and gradual adoption of the newWorkday system.
Address resistance to change andensure a smooth transition for endusers.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular status reports steering committeepresentations and other relevant documentation.
Communicate project schedules delays and work changes tomanagement.
Qualificationsand Skills
Strong project management skillsincluding budgeting risk assessment and resourceallocation.
Excellent communication negotiationand stakeholder management abilities.
PMP orother relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience managing ERP implementation or migrationprojects is a plus.
Familiarity with both Oracleand Workday systems is a plus.
