Job Title

Deputy Vice President Cyber Academy

Basic Qualifications (Mandatory)

  • BE/ BTech degree in any discipline from a University/Institution/Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory bodies OR
  • MCA / ME / MTech / MSc in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution/Board.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology.
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, PMP, MBA (Technology Management).

Experience

Mandatory:

  • 12+ years of overall experience with at least 8–10 years in Cyber Academy, Knowledge Dissemination, or Learning & Development roles within the cybersecurity domain.

Preferred:

  • Experience in designing, managing, or delivering cybersecurity training programs.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity roles in IT companies, BFSI institutions, government cybersecurity setups, consulting firms, or innovation hubs.
  • Experience in areas such as Information Security, Cyber Policy, Innovation, Cyber Defense, or related domains.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up or working in a Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Specific Skills Required

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Technical knowledge across cybersecurity domains.
  • Expertise in training, knowledge dissemination, and skilling programs, including cyber awareness and sensitization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Labs and modern learning technologies (e-learning platforms, simulations, VR/AR-based training, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for varied audiences.
  • Strong project management skills – planning, organizing, and executing complex training initiatives.
  • Problem-solving abilities for challenges related to cybersecurity education and workforce readiness.
  • Ability to adapt to emerging technologies and industry trends in cybersecurity and learning.
  • Exposure to Public-Private Partnership models and Cybersecurity Centres of Excellence.
  • In-depth understanding of BFSI sectoral cybersecurity challenges, risks, and regulatory expectations.
