Job Title : DGM - MEP Services Key Responsibilities : Lead end-to-end execution of External MEP services including external electrical networks, HT/LT incoming supply, substations, chillers, utility corridors, chilled water lines, fire-fighting mains, drainage, stormwater, and internal campus infrastructure. Manage a team of 4 6 engineers and supervisors responsible for day-to-day site supervision, technical checks, progress tracking, and contractor coordination. Interface with government authorities, DISCOMs, water boards, and statutory agencies for approvals, inspections, and utility connections. Review and validate design drawings, vendor layouts, and engineering calculations for trenching, cabling, pipe routing, external plant rooms, and utility distribution systems. Coordinate with civil and structural teams to ensure proper sequencing and integration of underground and above-ground external utilities. Monitor and drive contractor performance, resource deployment, quality of installation, and adherence to project timelines. Oversee testing and commissioning of all external MEP systems including feeders, panels, pumps, hydrants, underground networks, and utility tie-ins. Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines, environment al norms, and statutory requirements for external works and trenching operations. Identify risks, deviations, or design clashes early and provide timely resolutions or mitigation plans. Manage technical documentation, method statements, ITPs, BOQs, and as-built records for all external MEP scopes. Support budgeting, vendor evaluation, and procurement planning for external MEP packages. Provide periodic updates, dashboards, and reports to senior management on progress, risks, and site readiness.
