Job Description- Key Responsibilities- To implement Safety Standards, procedures and systems in the plant in collaboration with the plant personnel
- o To conduct the necessary training for the employees at the plant on Safe working practices, Job safety analysis, development of risk assessment.- o To conduct periodic audits on compliance of Safety to identify opportunities for improvement and to facilitate implementation of such improvements.- o Ensure Reporting and investigating all type of accidents and near misses.- o Ensure legal and governance compliances are met at the plant.- Ensure the Environmental standards are maintained within the GPCB limits.
- Ensure that ETP, STP, stack monitoring, ambient air monitoring etc are operated and maintained in good working conditions.
- Liaison with internal and external stake holders like, plant Liner managers, corporate, Tamilnadu Factory Inspector and Pollution control board, Fire Department etc for ensuring EHS Legal compliances.
- Engineering Graduate/ Diploma with Formal Post graduate qualification in Environment & Industrial Safety Management.- Formally Qualified as a Lead Auditor in OSHAS & ISO 14000 from reputed certifying agency.
- ** Should have at least 15- 20 years of experience in process industries like Tire /Cement/Mining / Heavy Engineering with track record of establishing Best in class Safety systems & practices.**
- Strong communication, analytical and planning skills. Self-starter with the ability to work well with others.
