The Liaisoning & Local Coordinator AI Data Center will be responsible for managing all liaisoning, statutory, and local coordination activities associated with the establishment and operation of AI Data Centers in and around the Visakhapatnam region. The role involves close interaction with government authorities, local administrative bodies, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth approvals, compliance, and local engagement for project execution. As an individual contributor, the incumbent will act as the primary local interface between the company, government agencies, contractors, and the community, facilitating timely clearances, resolving local issues, and ensuring uninterrupted progress of project development and operations. Key Deliverables: Statutory & Regulatory Liaisoning: Coordinate with state and local government departments, municipal bodies, and utility agencies for approvals, permits, and statutory clearances required for AI Data Center construction and operations. Local Coordination & Stakeholder Management: Act as the company's local representative to manage relationships with local authorities, contractors, vendors, and landowners, ensuring smooth collaboration and conflict resolution. Permits & Approvals Management: Track and follow up on all permits related to land use, construction, electricity, environment, fire, and other operational licenses in alignment with project timelines. Community & Local Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community and administrative offices to ensure the company's reputation and project continuity are maintained. Project Support & Issue Resolution: Provide on-ground support to project, engineering, and construction teams by coordinating site-level logistics, addressing local challenges, and facilitating swift issue resolution. Compliance & Reporting: Maintain documentation of all liaisoning activities, approval statuses, and stakeholder communications. Provide periodic reports and updates to corporate and project leadership Skills/Exp 1. Must have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Public Administration / Law. 2. Preferred: Postgraduate qualification in Management, Legal Studies, or Public Policy. 3. 15 20 years of experience in liaisoning, permits management, and government relations, preferably in infrastructure, telecom, data center, or industrial projects. 4. Proven track record in obtaining statutory clearances and managing multi-agency coordination at the state and local level. 5. Strong working relationships with state electricity boards, pollution control boards, industrial development corporations, and local municipal authorities. 6. Experience supporting large-scale project setups, land acquisition processes, and compliance documentation. 7. Ability to interface with internal stakeholders such as Projects, Legal, SCM, and EHS teams for coordination and compliance. 8. Familiarity with Visakhapatnam and Andhra Pradesh's local administrative systems and government departments will be a significant advantage
