We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as GSC Internal Finance: Finance Systems Manager (SAP). Reporting to the Senior Manager , this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai (Vikhroli) and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our department and its growth.
Key responsibilities:
Implement and customize SAP S/4 HANA, SAP GR, SAP AC and related solutions
Collaborate with onshore counterparts to understand business requirements and provide effective solutions
Conduct system testing and debugging to ensure smooth functionality
Support end-users on new systems and functionalities
Stay updated on SAP trends and best practices
Key requirements:
Customization and mapping of Financial statement items with General Ledger
Attributes, Breakdown Categories, Sub item & sub item categories
Set up of hierarchies for Financial Statement items, consolidation units/groups and other dimensions.
Configuration of Balance carry forwards and Currency translation methods
Experience in configuring inter-unit eliminations/reclassification and Manual eliminations.
Managing reporting rules and set up of Validation rules and methods.
Maintain Tasks / selections to be used in the configuration.
Experience in handling new acquisitions, divestures or any changes to the consolidation group.
Master data set up for all mandatory dimensions
Excellent English communication skills - written and verbal
Decent accounting acumen and excellent Office 365 skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Self-driven and highly motivated individual, able to work independently
Solution oriented with strong analytical skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Positive, flexible personality, easy to adapt to changes and willing to undertake new tasks.
5-6 years of experience in SAP consulting
Proficiency in SAP S/4 Hana FICO, SAP SAC, SAP GR, or other group financial reporting tools like Hyperion (HFM), Anaplan, Jedox, CCH Tagetik
Hands on experience for configuring various objects in SAP FICO (at least two projects)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
B Com/M Com (mandatory) with SAP FICO qualification (desired)
