The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. Must be from top B-school. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Trade Strategy Development : Design and implement comprehensive trade marketing strategies to enhance brand presence, drive sales, and improve market share across retail and distribution channels.
  • Channel Management : Collaborate with sales teams to develop tailored trade programs for key channels (modern trade, general trade, e-commerce), ensuring optimal product positioning and promotions.
  • Promotional Campaigns : Lead the execution of in-store activations, promotions, and point-of-sale (POS) initiatives to maximize consumer engagement and drive retail performance.
  • Retailer Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, negotiating trade terms and ensuring effective collaboration on joint business plans.
  • Market Insights & Analysis : Monitor market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor activities to refine trade marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Budget Management : Oversee trade marketing budget allocation, ensuring efficient resource utilization and maximizing ROI on promotional investments.
  • Sales Collaboration : Partner with the sales team to align trade marketing plans with sales objectives, driving consistent execution across regions.
  • Performance Tracking : Analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing activities using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales uplift, market share, and ROI, and adjust strategies as needed.



Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent degree in Marketing or Business from Teir 1 institute of India of 2012-14 Batch.
  • Proven experience in trade marketing within FMCG or retail sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, shopper insights, and retail operations.
