As we expand our focus on ultra-large lighting installations, we are seeking a dedicated Vertical Head to spearhead one of our key verticals. This role is centered on driving sales and closing deals, with a strong emphasis on strategic execution and market expansion.


Intent of the Role:

The primary focus of this role is to achieve and exceed sales targets within one of our key verticals, contributing to the overall growth strategy. As the Vertical Head, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging with clients, and closing deals that align with the company’s objectives. You will work closely with the Sales Head, who oversees strategy across two verticals, and will have the autonomy to drive sales within your assigned vertical. Your success will be measured by your ability to bring in new business, maintain strong client relationships, and deliver on sales numbers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Drive sales within your assigned vertical, focusing on high-end decorative lighting projects. Your primary goal is to achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Client Engagement & Deal Closure: Actively engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions that align with their vision. Your role is to close deals and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Strategic Market Positioning: Position the company within the market by identifying new sales opportunities, building trust with key stakeholders, and expanding our footprint in the luxury lighting segment.
  • Project Execution: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of projects, from initial client interaction to final delivery.
  • Industry Knowledge & Research: Stay informed about industry trends, conduct market research, and leverage your insights to uncover new opportunities within the vertical.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with the Sales Head and other vertical heads to ensure alignment with overall business goals and strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6-14 years of experience in sales, preferably in high-end decorative lighting or interior design.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling to large hotels, builders, or similar clients.
  • Strong experience in closing deals and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and a consultative sales approach.
  • Ability to work independently, drive sales initiatives, and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Background in lighting design, architecture, or related fields is a strong plus.
