Head of industry:
The position will be responsible for Sales revenue targets of the Industrial wood coatings business at an All India level. He will have direct reporting of the Branch Managers at three regional locations and indirect reporting of 15 plus frontline and ASM level sales personnel.
The person will be responsible for ;
Sales Strategy and Customer Acquisition:
- Responsible for Presales, Sales, and Post Sales for OEM Key Accounts & Distributors to meet the assigned targets in the geography and product portfolios in the unrepresented areas.
- Develop and execute a robust sales strategy for industrial sales business focused on customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Identify and target potential customers and market segments for lead generation.
- Track and report on customer acquisition metrics to measure success.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure ongoing business growth and customer retention.
Lead Generation and Sales Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed industrial customer acquisition and lead generation targets.
- Establish clear KPIs for the sales team to drive sales of regular and new products.
- Create and maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analytics related to customer acquisition and lead generation.
- Present lead generation and customer acquisition data to senior management for decision-making.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategies to enhance lead generation efforts.
- Collaborate closely with the product marketing team to introduce new products catering to the industrial business Proven track record of success in industrial sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience, with a strong focus on customer acquisition, lead generation and Key Account Management.
- In-depth knowledge of the Coatings market (Decorative, Industrial, Wood etc)
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software.
- MBA in Marketing
