Education and Experience : CA with 5-8 years of experience in Direct and International Taxation
Core Purpose of the Role: Direct Tax (Corporate Tax, International Tax, Transfer Pricing and Cross Border Transactions) - Compliance, reporting, planning, advisory, audit and litigation across various levels
Role Accountabilities:
- Compiling information and preparation of Corporate Tax Return, Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing compliance, review of TDS returns and Form 15CA/CB
- Preparation of submissions and representation before tax authorities with respect to assessment, appeals and TDS proceedings across various levels
- Provide WHT implications on payments to residents and non-residents as per Income-tax Act and DTAAs.
- Analyse income tax implications on potential mergers/acquisition and business restructuring
- Analyse income tax implications on issues related to day to day transactions and impact of changes in the Income-tax Act, 1961 over the business of the company including implementation of the same.
- Maintain detailed MIS of direct tax matters
- Preparation of tax provision, deferred tax and contingent liability schedule.
