Head - Pharma Product Marketing (Gynac)


To consistently improve market share, ensure projected top line/bottom line based on market trends (through a team), derive way forward business plan of the assigned therapy with a focus on building perception through KOL's using science and network with relevant stakeholders to achieve the leadership in the assigned therapy (Gynaecology).

Key of topline and bottom line:

- Drives therapy growth on year to year basis.

- Improve market share of his products by effective communication strategy for creating differentiated perception

- Articulate the strategy and marketing plan for the therapy to the team to reproduce it in the communication medium (visual aid, inputs, literature etc) to build the brand recall in the customers.

- Ensure smooth operations of marketing deliverables like visual aid, agreed inputs, literature and cycle meets etc to field sales.

- Constantly take feedback on market intelligence from sales management team about the therapy movements and competitor activities.

- Coordinate with packaging and development to come up with different looks for the product to make it more saleable.

- Analyze the brand/therapy performance through SMSRC data and interpretation of the same to the field sales for better planning and sharpened focus.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Develop relationship with KOLs to build perceptions which can positively affect business

- Set new trends to enhance customer focus

- Influence field force to build customer relationships.

- Provide answers to any molecule / therapy / product-based queries to customers / field force.

- Regular field work to understand customers

- Monitor ROI on CRM inputs.

New Product Plan & Launch:

- Identify the gaps in the disease / therapy area and suggest new products

- Coordinate with Market Research for primary Market research for all the new product ideation for achieving clarity in the right patient segment, right launch volume and right price.

- Plan well ahead the timelines required at various processes and various stages so that Product launch dates are not tampered with.

- Train the field on new product launch activities and doctor communication for the new product

- Coordinate with medico marketing to impart the science behind the new product to the field sales.

- First time target setting for new product based on the market research findings.

- Close follow up with sales management for new product performance and various activities with KOL's for the success of the new product.

Planning:

- Involve in the annual budgeting with a constant focus to move up the ladder in the therapy leadership.

- Set objective for next year based on the learnings from the market intelligence and performance in all the brands

Required Education: Science Graduate with MBA or B.Pharm with MBA

Required Experience: Total 12 to 16 years out of which 1-2 years in Pharma sales followed by atleast 4-5 years in a GPM role / currently in Marketing Head position
