Human Resources Project Officer

Job Purpose
To oversee and implement all Human Resource processes at project sites for Solar and Wind power projects. Ensure seamless HR operations, drive employee engagement, manage workforce administration, and support site leadership in building a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations at Project Sites: Manage end-to-end HR Operations for project staff, ensuring adherence to company HR policies. It includes leave & attendance management, reimbursement claims etc.
- Onboarding: Facilitate and coordinate effective onboarding and induction programs for all new site joiners, including fresher ITIs, DETs, GETs, and staff.
- Performance Management System (PMS): Coordinate goal setting, mid-year, and annual performance assessments; ensure that performance feedback and appraisal processes are conducted efficiently at site level.
- Goal Setting & KRAs: Assist site teams in cascading organizational and individual goals; monitor progress and support alignment of objectives.
- Induction and Training: Conduct induction sessions for new joinees; coordinate, organize, and deliver training programs—especially for fresher ITIs/DETs/GETs on soft skills, company values, safety norms, and other technical/non-technical topics.
- Records Management: Ensure accurate documentation and HRIS updates, and maintenance of employee records.
Employee Retention
- Conflict Management: Act as the first point of contact for conflict resolution among site personnel; employ fair and transparent methods to resolve issues proactively.
- HR Connect: Build strong connect with project employees and workers through regular visits, townhalls, and open forums, fostering a transparent and inclusive culture.
- Grievance Redressal: Address and resolve grievances in a timely and sensitive manner as per HR policies. Record, track, and report grievances to senior management.
- Employee Engagement: Support engagement activities to drive motivation, promote wellbeing, and enhance retention at project sites. Drive employee engagement surveys for the site employees.
Qualification & Experience/ Skills Requirements
- Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–7 years relevant experience in HR domain (preferably with site HR work and/or renewable energy project exposure).
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, PMS, onboarding, grievance handling, and labour laws.
- Experience in training freshers (ITIs, DETs, GETs) is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently and work across multiple project locations.
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to thrive in dynamic, remote site environments.
