Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented individual to lead our University Partnerships initiatives. This role is integral to our mission of creating impactful collaborations with domestic and international universities, enhancing the scope and quality of our upskilling programs. The ideal candidate will own the entire partnership life-cycle, from scouting and sourcing to negotiation and deal closure, ensuring alignment with our business goals and values.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Scouting and Research

  • Identify and evaluate potential university partners, both domestic and international, based on strategic fit and market needs.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand global and regional trends in upskilling and higher education.
  • Build a pipeline of target universities for collaboration.

2. Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at universities, including deans, program directors, and partnership teams.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to foster partnerships.

3. Partnership Development

  • Negotiate and finalise agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the company and partner universities.
  • Design and structure partnership models such as co-branded courses, certification programs, or credit-bearing pathways.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (product, marketing, and content teams) to align university offerings with company goals.

4. Execution and Monitoring

  • Oversee the launch of collaborative programs, ensuring seamless integration into the company’s platform.
  • Monitor the performance and impact of partnerships, collecting feedback to refine strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements for partnerships in different geographies.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to promote university-backed programs to learners.
  • Collaborate with product and tech teams to integrate university offerings into the platform.



Qualifications and Skills:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a similar role within EdTech, higher education, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals with domestic and international partners.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
