Senior Technical Lead/ Architect

Title : Sr Tech Lead/Architect

Location : Bangalore

Responsibilities :

- Leads multiple project teams of other software systems engineers, internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.

- Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

- Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.

- Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.

- Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.

- Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.

- Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.

- Oversees the installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.

- Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.

- Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

- Technically leads a project team of other software systems engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions & architecture for assigned systems portion or subsystem.

Knowledge & Skills :

- Highly motivated having hands on experience with Java, SpringBoot, Spring Cloud, NodeJS , Databases ((PostgreSQL/ MongoDB/ MSSqlServer/Oracle)/RDS and developing RESTful APIs.

- Experience in using different tools like source code management (SVN or GIT), build tools (ant, maven, Gradle), Unit testing (Junit) etc.

- Must have working knowledge with AWS cloud computing environment and experience using AWS services like AWS Lambda/ EKS / ECS / SNS/SQS/STEP Functions etc.

- Strong understanding of Microservices architectures with hands-on experience in developing and deploying Microservices solutions on Cloud infrastructure.

- Ability to produce high-quality code meeting project deadlines and the requirements.

- Experience with event/message driven distributed system

- Strong critical thinkers with ability to independently make decisions in the context of program vision

- Strong experience in software development, systems engineering, or software product management.

- Advanced technical knowledge of complex software systems, including large scale enterprise, middleware systems.

- Working Knowledge and experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- Experienced in Design Patterns and developing Web Services

- Experienced in developing Enterprise class of products & solutions, multi-tier on-prem applications.

- Experience in Agile Methodologies and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience working with backend, frontend development, DevOps, API integrations and Data engineering

- Expert business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection

- Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages

- Strong Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions

- Experience designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.

- Desired Printer & Printing domain expertise.

Education & Experience :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

- Typically, 10-15 years experience.
