Plan visuals, layouts, and graphics for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more, adapting to platform trends and audience expectations. Work hands-on with design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar to bring ideas to life quickly and creatively. Research competitors and trends for design inspiration and report what’s pushing engagement. Build and maintain a strong portfolio of agency or brand work (mandatory for consideration). Collaborate with content, marketing, and product teams for cohesive storytelling. Stay up to date on the latest social media basics, i.e., visual formats, sizing, and interaction trends.Who You Are 2–3 years’ experience designing for social media, ideally with an agency or brand. Fluent in modern design language, layout, and platform requirements. Proficient with design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.). Strong aesthetic sense, creative ideation, and confidence to adapt as trends shift. Must have a portfolio of past social media design work.
