Credit Control - Manager and Senior Manager

  • Education Requirements: B.COM/M.COM/MBA/CA
  • Work Experience Requirements: Accounting Graduate with more than 10-12 years of experience in Credit Control functions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Responsibilities:
  • 'Capability to develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures that align with the company’s financial goals.
  • Ability to make informed decisions regarding credit limits, terms, and collection strategies.
  • Developing strategies to minimize bad debt and manage exposure to credit risk.
  • Skill in communicating credit terms and policies to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Proficiency in negotiating payment terms, settlements, and credit limits with clients.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, finance) and senior management. Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging reports, and collection activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations

Audit Control - Manager and Senior Manager

  • GAAP/IFRS Understanding: In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential.
  • Double-Entry Accounting: Proficiency in double-entry accounting to understand how transactions impact various accounts on the balance sheet.
  • Chart of Accounts: Familiarity with the organization’s chart of accounts and how different transactions are categorized.
  • Ability to perform reconciliations of accounts, such as bank reconciliations, to ensure the accuracy of balances.

Reinsurance Accounting - Manager

  • Managing the team of Reinsurance accountants, Review and Approve MJE, Reconciliations, Handling client queries, Performing Open balance analysis

Controllership Manager and Senior Manager

• Lead and oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process, including review of journal entries, sign-off of account reconciliations, and business unit financial statements

• Support and review of deliverables from offshore teams and help provide insightful and impactful analytics

• Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies and enhanced controls

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, monthly and periodic processing as per business requirement

• Strong R2R knowledge - Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Close process, GL Accounting, Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Reporting and analysis

• Knowledge of Investment accounting like Capital contribution, Dividends, Bonus, securities, Assets accounting etc. is required

• Review of critical journal entries, reconciliations and month/quarter end activities before onshore sign off

• Consult with onshore BU Controllers, Up steam & Downstream teams during close to ensure timely completion of deliverables and escalation of issues

•Team management skills -Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance

•Client management - Handle escalations /queries. Drive Governance Meetings, Understand & anticipate clients’ business needs, concerns & issues, and be able to proactively resolve the same

• Partner with onshore team to support internal/ external audits

• Legal & compliance - Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures

• Act as a point of escalation for any operational issue

• Conduct Periodic Performance Assessments of team members

Fixed Asset Accounting- Manager and Senior Manager

• Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting principles, including depreciation methods, capital vs. expense classification, and impairment analysis.

• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as they pertain to fixed assets.

• Expertise in calculating, managing, and optimizing depreciation schedules and methods (e.g., straight-line, declining balance).

• Proficiency in maintaining an accurate and up-to-date fixed asset register, including asset tagging and tracking.

• Experience in conducting physical asset inventories and reconciling these with accounting records.

• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, from acquisition through to disposal, including procedures for transfers, retirements, and write-offs.

General Accounting- Manager and Senior Manager

  • In-depth knowledge of Technical Accounting, Expense Allocations, Reconciliations and insurance expertise
  • Leads or actively participates in increasingly complex department projects and continuous improvement activities
