About the Role: NIIF Infrastructure Finance Limited is currently looking for a Debt Resources professional for an on-site full-time position in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should have experience in Debt Fund raising preliminary from debt capital markets (DCM) and specifically from Retirement Benefit Funds, Insurance Companies, Family & Wealth Management. Also, support ALM function(s). Knowledge about International Borrowings and its hedging would be added advantage.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Perform all debt resource raising activities related to borrowings (including paperwork & compliance) from the debt capital markets with focus on raising funds from institutional investors(insurance companies, mutual funds, banks etc) ,HNIs, family offices, corporate treasuries, impact investors & retirement benefit funds.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors on an ongoing basis.
  • Preparation of the resources raising budget taking into consideration market conditions, cost effectiveness, managing effective timelines, regulations & compliances etc.
  • Coordinate with rating agencies, legal counsel, trustees, arrangers/ underwriters, regulators, internal teams to facilitate the raising of funds.
  • Manage, monitor and optimize overall financing and transaction charges and interest cost for debt fund-raising facilities.
  • Ensure availability of long-term debt at competitive rates and as per required timelines.
  • Ensure timely ratings of all instruments including annual / periodic surveillance and compliances.
  • Analyze interest rate risk & liquidity risk and ensure assets and liabilities management (ALM) on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop & maintain relationships with multilateral agencies, foreign banks/institutions.
  • Support liquidity management.


Skills:


  • Demonstrated experience in raising debt funds from investors including High Networth Individuals (HNIs), family offices, corporate treasuries, retirement benefit funds and financial institutions through issuance of bonds in domestic capital market.
  • Experience in issuing bonds through private placement and public issue
  • Excellent understanding of debt capital markets and the regulatory aspects thereof
  • Experience and knowledge of structuring new instruments like zero coupon bonds, preference shares etc.
  • Strong relationships with investors including HNIs, family offices, corporate treasuries, retirement benefit funds and institutional investors.
  • Experience and knowledge of raising funds through ECB loans / offshore bonds market
  • Experience and knowledge of hedging products (interest rate / currency risk etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
