JOB DESCRIPTION OF SALES MANAGER/ ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER (MULTIPLE POSITIONS)


·        Area of Expertise / Sectorial Experience:

1)   Power Generation Industry (Coal / Hydro / Nuclear / Solar / Wind)

2)   Customers such as NTPC, BHEL, NPCIL, L&T, State Generation Utilities, Private Power Utilities (TATA, Adani, JSW, JaiPrakash, Inox, Suzlon, etc.), NHPC, NEEPCO, THDC, SJVN, Desein, DCL, EIL, MECON, TCE, STEAG, Fichtner, etc.


·        Roles & Responsibilities:

1)     Leading sales & marketing activities / meeting and conducting regular presentations for developing new customers / consultants / travel pan India for sales & marketing / building & maintaining customer & consultant relationships

2)     Maintain high level product & application knowledge including competitor analysis.

3)     Understanding technical project requirements / bidding / costing / preparation / submission / negotiation including monitoring of target opportunities, offers, etc.


 Experience & Qualification:


1)     7 to 8 years’ experience in Power Generation sector with B Tech / BE / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Control & Instrumentation Engineering

2)     High level understanding of different type of instrumentation / equipment / processes in power generation and related industry

3)     Reporting to GM (Sales & Business Development)
