Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Community Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing a vibrant community of college students across platforms such as Discord and Telegram. You will be responsible for driving engagement, managing social media, and leading campus ambassador programs to promote MapOut and convert engaged students into active users.


Key Responsibilities:


Community Building:

Develop and execute strategies to build and grow a strong, engaged community of college students on Discord, Telegram, IG, and other relevant social media platforms.

Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student interaction and engagement.

Organize and host virtual events, Q&A sessions, and webinars to drive community engagement and brand awareness.

Social Media Management:

Manage and curate content for MapOut’s social media channels, including posts, stories, and updates.

Create and implement social media campaigns to promote MapOut and drive user acquisition.

Monitor social media trends and engage with the community to maintain a vibrant online presence.

Campus Ambassador Program:

Develop and manage campus ambassador programs to increase brand presence and engagement on college campuses.

Recruit, train, and support campus ambassadors to effectively represent MapOut.

Coordinate with ambassadors to organize on-campus events, workshops, and promotions.

User Conversion:

Implement strategies to convert engaged students into MapOut users, including targeted campaigns and personalized outreach.

Track and analyze engagement metrics to optimize conversion strategies and improve user acquisition efforts.

Community Engagement:

Respond to community inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Develop and share engaging content that resonates with the college student demographic.

Monitor community discussions and trends to ensure a positive and engaging environment.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in community management, social media management, or related roles, preferably in a college or student-focused context.

Skills:

Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Discord and Telegram.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to create engaging content and manage multiple social media accounts.

Experience in managing and growing online communities.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Passion for helping students and a keen interest in career development.
