A leading Indian agrochemical manufacturing company is looking for a seasoned leader to head its international business operations. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in crop protection (mandatory) and crop nutrition (preferred), with a strong track record of managing business in global markets including Europe, Latin America (especially Brazil), the US, and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive international business strategy aligned with company growth objectives
- Manage sales, partnerships, and distribution networks across global markets
- Oversee product registration and regulatory compliance in international regions
- Lead pricing strategy and market entry plans tailored to each region
- Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and production teams to ensure market-fit product offerings
- Build and manage high-performing international sales and business development teams
- Monitor global market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer meetings
Candidates must have a minimum of 20 years' experience in international business within the agrochemical industry, preferably with a leading Indian manufacturer. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, global commercial management, and team leadership is essential. Willingness to travel internationally is required.
Education: Degree in Agriculture, Chemistry, or Business. An MBA in International Business is preferred.
