Revenue Cycle Management Solutions Architect Technical Screener

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Solutions Architect to serve as a Technical Screener for evaluating candidates applying for similar roles. This position focuses on assessing the technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills of applicants. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in healthcare RCM, IT systems, automation technologies, and integration with healthcare APIs and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Screening & Evaluation:
- Conduct comprehensive technical interviews to evaluate candidates' expertise in healthcare RCM workflows, APIs, and automation tools.
- Assess proficiency in integration technologies such as HL7, FHIR, EDI 837/835, and ERP systems like Epic, Cerner, and Athenahealth.
- Test candidates' ability to design solutions leveraging AI, RPA, and machine learning.
- Problem-Solving Scenarios:
- Present real-world scenarios requiring candidates to optimize RCM processes (e.g., claims processing, eligibility verification, and denial management).
- Evaluate problem-solving skills in reducing manual intervention, improving data accuracy, and driving automation.
- Technical Skills Assessment:
- Assess candidates' knowledge of predictive analytics, data reporting, and dashboard creation for RCM performance tracking.
- Verify understanding of compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 1, SOC 2) and cybersecurity protocols.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Evaluate candidates' ability to communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assess interpersonal skills needed for cross-functional collaboration with RCM teams, IT, payers, and providers.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 7+ years of experience in RCM solutions architecture, EDI systems, or healthcare IT with a focus on automation and integration.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in healthcare APIs (HL7, FHIR, EDI 837/835) and ERP systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Hands-on experience with RPA tools, AI platforms, and large-scale EDI transactions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate candidates' ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assess collaborative potential.
- Preferred Experience:
- Background in telehealth solutions, EHR digitization, and advanced analytics for healthcare RCM.
