Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced B2B Content Strategy Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that drive business growth for our clients. You will work closely with new business prospects and existing customers, providing strategic guidance and consulting to solve complex marketing and content challenges. As a key player in our team, you will help brands expand their marketing and content avenues, enhance brand visibility, and achieve vital business metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, marketing goals, and target audience. Develop comprehensive content strategies that align with these objectives and drive measurable results.
  • Business Development Support: Work closely with the sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and pitch content solutions to prospective clients. Provide strategic insights and content expertise to support the acquisition of new business.
  • Client Consulting and Problem-Solving: Act as a consultant for existing clients, identifying content and marketing challenges and offering innovative solutions. Work with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that enhance client success.
  • Cross-Channel Expertise: Leverage expertise in search, social media, YouTube, customer lifecycle management, and owned assets to create integrated content strategies that maximize brand impact across all digital channels.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Use data and analytics to measure the performance of content strategies and optimize them for continuous improvement. Provide clients with actionable insights and recommendations based on performance metrics.
  • Thought Leadership and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging content marketing practices. Share knowledge and insights with clients and internal teams to foster innovation and thought leadership.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership: Work collaboratively with Pepper Content's strategy, technology, and talent teams to deliver exceptional results for clients. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B content strategy, content marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies for large enterprises.
  • Significant experience in B2B SaaS or services companies, with a deep understanding of the nuances and dynamics of these industries.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, social media, video content, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience working in a consulting or client-facing role, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
