Role Overview:

As a PR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's reputation and driving brand awareness within the fintech industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective public relations strategies to enhance our visibility, build relationships with key stakeholders, and support our overall business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Media Relations:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers.
  • Pitch compelling stories to secure media coverage in relevant publications.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze its impact on brand reputation.

Crisis Communication:

  • Develop crisis communication plans and protocols.
  • Manage and respond to potential crises in a timely and effective manner.
  • Protect the company's reputation during challenging times.

Content Strategy:

  • Create and oversee the development of engaging content, including press releases, blog posts, and social media updates.
  • Ensure that content aligns with our brand messaging and target audience.

Event Management:

  • Plan and execute successful PR events, such as conferences, webinars, and product launches.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with industry analysts, investors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide thought leadership and insights to position the company as a thought leader in the fintech space.

Brand Reputation Management:

  • Monitor online sentiment and track brand reputation metrics.
  • Implement strategies to address negative feedback and enhance our brand image.


Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the fintech or technology industry.

· Strong writing and communication skills.

· Excellent media relations and networking abilities.

· Experience with crisis communication planning and execution.

· Knowledge of social media platforms and digital PR tactics.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
