Job Description :

The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Java, Python, Spring Boot, ETL Pipelines, and Airflow, with experience in message queues like AWS SQS, RabbitMQ, or similar. A strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS), DevOps automation, and microservices architecture is crucial. The role will involve managing technical debt, cost optimizations, cross-functional collaboration, and establishing reusable platforms & tools for the organization.

- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient architectures for backend systems.

- Optimize performance, database queries, and cloud infrastructure.

- Define best practices for microservices, event-driven designs, and service integrations.

- Continuously improve system design to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.

- Drive high-level and low-level system design decisions.

- Provide hands-on coding and debugging in Java, Python, and Spring Boot.

- Lead best practices for code quality, system reliability, and performance tuning.

- Conduct design reviews, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

- Develop and optimize microservices and APIs using Java, Python, and Spring Boot.

- Implement event-driven architectures using AWS SQS, RabbitMQ, or other messaging queues.

- Build and manage ETL pipelines and workflow orchestration with Airflow.

- Ensure seamless service-to-service communication across distributed systems.

- Deploy and manage applications on AWS Cloud, leveraging EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.

- Develop reusable frameworks, automation tools, and common platform components.

- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting standards.

- Define and enforce coding, security, and deployment best practices.

- Work closely with engineering leaders, Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and SDE/DE leads to align solutions with business goals.

- Champion cost-efficient engineering and platform standardization.

- Advocate for continuous process improvements and innovation.

Requirements :

- 712 years of experience in backend development and system architecture.

- Expertise in Java, Python, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.

- Strong experience with high-level and low-level system design for scalable applications.

- Proficiency in SQL & NoSQL databases, with performance optimization expertise.

- Hands-on experience in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, etc.).

- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform,

CloudFormation, or similar).

- Strong understanding of message queues (AWS SQS, RabbitMQ, or equivalent) for event-driven processing.

- Ability to reduce technical debt, optimize cloud infrastructure, and drive cost-efficient solutions.

- Exposure to front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
