Roles and Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility will be to participate in the creation of new IT solutions / enhancements to existing solutions from requirement to launch, as part of a cross functional team.
• You are required to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, sustain, and document software changes for new applications, enhancements, and defects.
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements.
• Perform analysis, design, and implementation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, processes, and product / program requirements.
• Engage with global teams to effectively translate customer requirements to software requirements and identify potential solutions that are optimized to operate with in constraints of the product.
• Customize and configure ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and scripts to meet business needs.
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
• Design and implement ServiceNow UI policies, data policies, and access controls to ensure data integrity and security.
• Have the ability and willingness to acquire in-depth understanding of domain and Business Process (beyond software) and apply that knowledge to develop solutions and to deliver enhancements/ fixes for customer requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor/master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a proven track record of successful project implementations.
• Including experience with the Service Catalog module and creating custom applications.
• Ability to implement moderate to complex custom widgets and backend scripting.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and functionalities.
• Hands-on experience in configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, complex workflows and solution migration to higher environment.
• Experience in developing ServiceNow integrations using APIs, web services, and data imports/exports.
• Experience in Workflows, SLAs, Import Sets and Update Sets.
• Experience in creation of Record Producers and Catalogue Items using Variables, Variable Sets.
• Working knowledge to schedule jobs, events, and triggers to manage business needs.
• Experience in creating transform maps and Import sets for uploading the bulk data through sheets.
• Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes.
• Must have experience in Service Now Custom Development.
• Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals – data structures, algorithms, operating system concepts.
• Excellent analytical skills, methodical problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills.
• ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA), are preferred
