Position Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead our team of academic counsellors and drive the growth of our fast-evolving organization.
- This role is crucial for managing, hiring, training, and ramping up a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Academic Counsellors.
- You will be a key player in generating new business, building the brand, and leading initiatives to scale effectively.
- The ideal candidate will have a blend of leadership acumen, industry knowledge, and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Manage, hire, train, and ramp up a team of high-performing Sales Development Representatives and Academic -Counsellors.
- Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure team success.
Business Development:
- Generate new business opportunities to contribute to the organization's growth.
- Focus on brand building and establish collaborations for effective business promotions.
Operational Excellence:
- Conduct and manage programs/campaigns to elevate business operations.
- Identify and implement initiatives to drive new business development and operational efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Marketing teams to drive business through inbound and outbound demand generation.
- Collaborate with various teams to achieve organizational goals and enhance decision-making processes.
Risk Management:
- Take intelligent risks to drive initiatives and meet organizational objectives.
- Ensure proactive identification and resolution of potential issues.
Performance Tracking:
- Set and achieve targets, and provide timely reports on performance metrics.
- Monitor and analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement.
Onboarding and Training:
Assist with onboarding new hires and provide ongoing training to ensure team members are well-prepared and effective in their Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Leadership: Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the company and industry is essential for making informed decisions.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
