Job Description :


We are currently seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer to join our dynamic team.


- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems administration, proficiency in SQL & MySQL, experience with Databricks environment, familiarity with Kibana, and working knowledge of IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS).


- As a Production Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our production systems.


Responsibilities :


- Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for production systems running on Linux platforms. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and uptime.


- Perform database administration tasks, including SQL query optimization, database tuning, and backup/restore operations. Work with Databricks environment for data processing and analysis, including job scheduling and execution. Utilize Kibana for log analysis, monitoring, and visualization of system metrics.


- Manage and maintain IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) for job scheduling and automation of batch processes. Collaborate with development teams to deploy new applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.


- Participate in incident response and resolution, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training purposes. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in production support and systems administration.


Requirement :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 6-12 years of experience in production support or systems administration roles.


- Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration, including shell scripting and system monitoring tools.


- Solid understanding of SQL & MySQL databases, with experience in performance tuning and optimization.


- Experience working with Databricks environment for big data processing and analytics. Familiarity with Kibana for log analysis and visualization. Working knowledge of IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) for job scheduling and automation.


- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred qualifications :


- Certification in Linux or relevant technologies.


- Experience with other database technologies such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.


- Familiarity with other log analysis and monitoring tools such as Splunk or ELK stack.


- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.


- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
