Senior Manager - MIS is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the company's Management Information Systems (MIS) and business intelligence functions. The role includes leading the development, maintenance, and optimization of MIS systems to ensure the effective collection, management, and reporting of data across various business units in the real estate sector. This position will collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to provide actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making, while ensuring the seamless integration of technology and systems to support the organization's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
MIS Strategy & Development:
- Develop and implement the company's MIS strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Lead the design and enhancement of MIS solutions to optimize data collection, reporting, and analytics processes.
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across all MIS platforms and systems.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Oversee the collection, processing, and management of large volumes of business-critical data from various departments.
- Ensure that accurate, timely, and relevant management reports are generated for senior leadership, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics, design reporting tools, and deliver insights on operational performance.
Business Intelligence & Analytics:
- Drive the integration of business intelligence (BI) tools and technologies to provide in-depth data analysis and support decision-making.
- Provide insights into trends, opportunities, and challenges based on data analysis.
- Create ad-hoc reports, forecasts, and visualizations to support various departments such as sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
System Integration & Optimization:
- Work closely with IT teams to integrate MIS systems with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, financial systems, etc.).
- Continuously assess and improve the performance of MIS platforms, ensuring scalability and security.
- Lead system upgrades, automation of processes, and data migration activities as needed.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Manage and mentor a team of MIS professionals, ensuring their growth, development, and performance.
- Foster collaboration between departments (sales, operations, finance, marketing, etc.) to understand their information needs and customize reporting solutions.
- Act as a liaison between senior management and IT teams to ensure the smooth implementation of MIS initiatives.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure that all MIS systems comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain data security and privacy policies for the management and use of company data.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Assist in the budgeting process for MIS projects and initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor and control the MIS budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and projects.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in MIS, business intelligence, or data management roles, preferably within the real estate or related industries.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position, overseeing teams and large-scale projects.
- Extensive experience with MIS software, business intelligence tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP), and data visualization techniques.
- Familiarity with real estate industry operations, financials, and reporting standards.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of database management, data analytics, and reporting tools.
- Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and other data analysis tools.
- Understanding of ERP systems and integration processes.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and data security standards.
