We are a dynamic and fast-scaling e-commerce company focused on delivering excellence in customer experience and operational efficiency. We are seeking a seasoned *MIS Analyst* with 8–10 years of experience to play a key role in driving business insights, decision-making, and reporting automation.

Role Overview

The MIS Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing management information systems and business reports across multiple functions such as sales, marketing, operations, and finance. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, extensive experience with BI tools, and a proven record of turning data into actionable insights for business growth in the e-commerce domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and automate MIS dashboards and reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Compile, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

  • Provide actionable insights on business KPIs including sales performance, marketing ROI, inventory, logistics, and customer metrics.

  • Support decision-making by generating trend analyses, forecasting models, and scenario planning.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, product, finance, operations) to design customized reports and analytical outputs.

  • Continuously optimize data collection processes to improve accuracy and reporting turnaround time.

  • Identify data gaps and recommend system/process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.

  • Implement and manage BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, etc.) for visualizing business data.

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports.

  • Act as the data governance champion, maintaining high standards in data quality, consistency, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related field (MBA/PG in Analytics preferred).

  • 8–10 years of experience in MIS, business reporting, or analytics, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.

  • Expertise in SQL, advanced Excel, and at least one BI/visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

  • Strong knowledge of databases, data warehouse systems, and ETL processes.

  • Experience handling large datasets and integrating data from diverse systems (ERP, CRM, marketing tools, logistics, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights.

  • Excellent communication skills for presenting data insights to senior stakeholders.

  • High attention to detail, organized, and process-oriented.

  • Proven ability to mentor junior analysts and manage reporting processes independently.
