Position - MIS & Hotel Operations Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Department: Finance & Operations

Reporting To: Senior Vice President Operations

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support our hospitality group with MIS, financial analysis, vendor management, and operational reporting. The role will involve preparing comparative reports, Excel models, and P&L statements for hotels and F&B outlets, along with creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations for management reviews, investor decks, and performance updates.

Key Responsibilities

  1. MIS & Reporting

  2. Design and maintain MIS dashboards for hotel operations, revenues, and costs.

  3. Prepare comparative reports across multiple hotels/outlets.
  4. Track and analyze KPIs like ARR, RevPAR, occupancy, GOP, F&B revenue, and departmental costs.

  5. Create professional PowerPoint presentations summarizing financial and operational insights for management and stakeholders.

  6. Financial Analysis

  7. Prepare accurate P&L statements for hotels and restaurants.

  8. Conduct variance analysis (Budget vs. Actuals) with key insights.
  9. Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and cost optimization.

  10. Provide data support for management meetings, audits, and strategic planning.

  11. Vendor Management & Procurement

  12. Maintain vendor database, contracts, and payment schedules.

  13. Handle procurement of basic supplies and services at cost-effective terms.

  14. Track vendor performance and negotiate for efficiency and savings.

  15. Hotel Operations Support

  16. Collaborate with operations teams to capture accurate data.

  17. Provide insights that aid decision-making in sales, revenue management, and operations.
  18. Monitor department-wise costs and recommend optimization measures.

Profile Required

  • Education: Graduate in Commerce/Finance/Hotel Management. MBA/PGDM preferred.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in MIS, Finance, or Operations in hospitality (hotels, restaurants, QSRs).
  • Skills Required:
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
  • Expertise in PowerPoint for creating impactful business presentations.
  • Knowledge of P&L preparation, hotel financial metrics, and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS/ERP software (Opera, IDS, Micros, POS, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with good communication and vendor negotiation skills.
