Lead - Mergers and Deal Sourcing & Execution: Actively source, evaluate, and execute M&A and investment opportunities in the D2C and consumer brand space.
- Due Diligence: Lead and manage the due diligence process, providing advisory services and ensuring a thorough assessment of potential deals.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models in Excel to support valuation and deal structuring.
- Strategic Presentations: Create compelling presentations in PowerPoint to communicate deal rationale, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless deal execution and post-merger integration.
- Portfolio Management: Collaborate with leadership teams of our portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and support to help them scale.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: 4-8 years of experience with a consulting firm focused on due diligence and advisory. Candidates with prior M&A exposure in investment banking or corporate development post their diligence experience will be an ideal fit.
Education: A CA or CA+MBA Finance credential is required.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the D2C, Retail, or E-commerce sectors is Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive and a disciplined, focused approach to work.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
