Job Title: Head of Learning & Development

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Organisation:  Our client is a Manufacturer in India with a Pan India & Global retail presence

Reports to:  Chief Human Resource Officer


JOB OVERVIEW


The Head of Learning & Development will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the learning strategy for a premium sanitaryware and lighting brand. You will lead a team of learning professionals and collaborate with various departments to identify training needs, design effective programs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Learning Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Regularly assess training programs to stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the effectiveness modules of learning programs.


Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of learning initiatives with overall organizational strategies.


Training Needs Analysis:

  • Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across various departments.
  • Work closely with department heads and HR to design targeted learning interventions based on identified needs.
  • Assess departmental qualitative parameters to identify and plan training requirements.


Program Design and Development:

  • Oversee the creation of engaging and effective learning programs, incorporating various modalities such as instructor-led training, e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job learning.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update training content.


Learning Technology and Tools:

  • Evaluate, select, and implement learning management systems (LMS) and other technological tools to enhance the delivery and tracking of learning programs.


Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising the quality of programs.


REQUIRED SKILL SET


Educational Qualifications Required


  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field. A Masters in business administration is preferred
  • Minimum 12-14 Years of experience in Sales or Training

  • Experience in Designing, developing, and implementing tailored training programs – technical and behavioural
  • Proficiency in creating instructional materials and conducting needs assessments.
  • Experience in setting LMS platforms
  • Strong presentation skills.
