Job Title: Treasury Back Office - Assistant/Deputy ManagerLocation: Nashik [WFO]Department: CorporateReports to: VP - Finance & Accounts Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned treasury professional to lead and manage the end-to-end operations related to External Commercial Borrowings (ECB). With the growing complexity and volume of ECB tranches, this role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate settlements, system integrity, and strategic coordination across departments. Key roles and Customer Onboarding- Lead onboarding of ECB customers in coordination with lenders and internal teams.- Ensure full compliance with KYC, RBI, and documentation norms.- Maintain and audit borrower profiles and tranche records.ECB Interest Rate Tracking, Computation and Settlement- Monitor global benchmark rates (e.g., SOFR, LIBOR) and compute tranche-wise interest.- Review and validate interest computation sheets.- Oversee timely settlements of interest and principal payments. ECB Systems Management (Intellect Software System)- Administer ECB modules within Intellect or similar treasury systems.- Ensure system updates, data accuracy, and compliance with RBI and audit standards.- Collaborate with IT and vendors for system enhancements and issue resolution. Derivatives Settlement on ECB Hedges- Coordinate with the Treasury Front Office for hedge execution.- Manage back-office operations for derivatives (e.g., forwards, swaps).- Ensure accurate accounting, settlement, and reconciliation of hedge transactions.ECB Taxation Related Activities- Handle tax computations (withholding tax, GST) on ECB transactions.- Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, and Income Tax regulations.- Liaise with tax consultants and internal teams for audits and filings.General Treasury Back Office Functions- Manage debt servicing, covenant tracking, and regulatory submissions.- Forecast daily cash flows and prepare liquidity MIS.- Record and reconcile treasury transactions (NCDs, CPs, ECBs, FDs).- Support internal/external audits and drive process Strong expertise in ECB operations, RBI/FEMA compliance, and taxation.- Proficient in treasury systems (Intellect or equivalent).- High attention to detail, analytical skills, and process orientation.- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Qualifications & Experience- 6-9 years of experience in treasury operations, preferably in NBFCs or financial institutions.- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.- Certification in Treasury Management, Financial Risk Management (FRM), or similar is a plus. Familiarity with institutional credit processes, DSA management, and operational workflows is an advantage. (ref:iimjobs.com)
