Position:Senior Engineer – Offshore Renewable Structures Location:Bengaluru / Delhi, India Department:R&D – Marine & Offshore Systems Experience:4–12 years (shop-floor + field) Type:Full-time, Permanent About InSolare Energy Ltd. Our R&D team designs and deploys robust floating platforms and hardware suited for Indian and global standards. Role Overview Lead thedesign and build of floating bodies and auxiliariesfor offshore renewables — including floating solar platforms, service pontoons, and near-shore structures. The role combines design, materials engineering, fabrication oversight, and mooring system development from concept to commissioning. Key Responsibilities Design floating structures (frames, decks, bulkheads, joints, stability, and buoyancy). Develop and test welded, bolted, and polymer joints (MS, SS, HDPE, composites). Design and size mooring and anchoring systems for metocean conditions. Optimize structures for weight, cost, stiffness, and corrosion protection. Oversee fabrication, QA/QC, NDT, and yard/site integration. Essential Qualifications B.E./B.Techin Marine/Mechanical/Naval Architecture. 4–12 yearsexperience in shipbuilding, offshore, or floating-solar fabrication. Proven hands-on skills inMS and HDPE joining , leakproof compartment design, and structural calculations. Working knowledge ofmooring designand field implementation. Willingness foryard/site traveland close coordination with fabricators. Preferred Qualifications PG in Naval Architecture / Offshore Engineering. Exposure tofloating solar, near-shore structures, or workboats. Knowledge ofcomposites, metocean loads, corrosion, and fatigue. Familiarity withvendor developmentfor offshore components.
