Our R&D team designs and deploys robust floating platforms and hardware suited for Indian and global standards.Role OverviewLead the design and build of floating bodies and auxiliaries for offshore renewables — including floating solar platforms, service pontoons, and near-shore structures. The role combines design, materials engineering, fabrication oversight, and mooring system development from concept to commissioning.Key Responsibilities- Design floating structures (frames, decks, bulkheads, joints, stability, and buoyancy).- Develop and test welded, bolted, and polymer joints (MS, SS, HDPE, composites).- Design and size mooring and anchoring systems for metocean conditions.- Optimize structures for weight, cost, stiffness, and corrosion protection.- Oversee fabrication, QA/QC, NDT, and yard/site integration.Essential Qualifications- B.E./B.Tech in Marine/Mechanical/Naval Architecture.- 4–12 years experience in shipbuilding, offshore, or floating-solar fabrication.- Proven hands-on skills in MS and HDPE joining, leakproof compartment design, and structural calculations.- Working knowledge of mooring design and field implementation.- Willingness for yard/site travel and close coordination with fabricators.Preferred Qualifications- PG in Naval Architecture / Offshore Engineering.- Exposure to floating solar, near-shore structures, or workboats.- Knowledge of composites, metocean loads, corrosion, and fatigue.- Familiarity with vendor development for offshore components.Apply NowSend your resume (and optional project/portfolio files) to : Application – Senior Engineer, Offshore Renewable Structures
