Role description:

 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Trader to lead our sales efforts in the Indian market for ferrous and non-ferrous recyclable materials. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the recycling and metals industries, combined with excellent sales acumen and relationship-building skills

 

Key Responsibilities:


·       Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies for ferrous and non-ferrous recyclable materials to achieve revenue and profitability targets in the Indian market.

 

·       Client Relationship Management: Identify and establish relationships with key buyers in the recycling and metals industries, fostering long-term partnerships and trust.

 

·       Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to monitor demand trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activities, leveraging insights to optimize sales approaches.

 

·       Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with buyers, ensuring transactions align with company profitability goals and market conditions.

 

·       Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure the timely shipment and delivery of goods, resolving any issues that arise.

 

·       Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of recycling processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements specific to ferrous and non-ferrous materials in India.

 

·       Customer Satisfaction: Provide after-sales support, address client feedback, and work proactively to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen relationships.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

·       Proven experience in sales, trading, or business development in the recycling or metals industry.

·       Strong knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous recycling processes, materials, and industry standards.

·       Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

·       Analytical mindset with a keen understanding of market trends and data-driven decision-making.

·       Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including logistics and operations.

·       Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the Indian recycling industry.

·       Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
