Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our manufacturing company in Gurugram. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing complex technology solutions that align with the company’s manufacturing processes, business objectives, and digital transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Design and Architecture:
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that support manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  1. Digital Transformation:
  • Lead digital transformation projects, including the integration of IoT, Industry 4.0 technologies, and automation in manufacturing processes.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  1. System Integration:
  • Ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing ERP, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), and other enterprise applications.
  • Oversee the implementation of cloud-based solutions, data analytics platforms, and machine learning models.
  1. Technical Leadership:
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
  • Conduct regular reviews of system architecture to ensure it meets business needs and industry standards.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, supply chain, and IT, to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  1. Performance Optimization:
  • Analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address issues and minimize downtime.
  1. Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all solutions comply with industry regulations, cybersecurity standards, and data protection laws.
  • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive manufacturing data and intellectual property.
  1. Vendor Management:
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of solutions and services.
  • Evaluate and select third-party tools, platforms, and software that best fit the company’s needs.
  1. Project Management:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in IT architecture, software development, or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, and other relevant technologies.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), IoT, data analytics, and machine learning.
  • Experience with system integration, API management, and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and industry compliance standards.
