Description : Job Title : ServiceNow ITOM DeveloperEmployment Type : 6-Month ContractExperience : 7+ YearsJob Summary : We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer with deep expertise in ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, and ConnectedOps to support large-scale ServiceNow implementations.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Observability, and Cloud Insights, along with proven skills in integrations, scripting, and CMDB governance.This role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade ITOM solutions aligned with best practices and client-specific requirements.Key Responsibilities : Requirement Analysis & Design : - Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business requirement sessions to capture functional and technical needs.- Perform gap analysis against existing ServiceNow ITOM capabilities and recommend enhancements.- Translate business needs into technical designs and ServiceNow configurations.ServiceNow ITOM Implementation : Configure and deploy ITOM modules : - Discovery & Patterns (infrastructure and cloud assets)- Service Mapping (business & application service topology)- Event Management (alert correlation, health dashboards)- Cloud Management / Cloud Observability (multi-cloud monitoring)Cloud Insights (optimization and governance) :- Implement CSDM (Common Service Data Model) and ensure correct alignment of CI classes.- Maintain and improve CMDB population, health, reconciliation, and governance rules.Integration & Automation : - Integrate third-party systems with ServiceNow using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, Service Graph Connectors.- Automate workflows and orchestration for infrastructure, applications, and cloud services.Scripting & Development : - Write and customize Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and UI Actions using JavaScript.- Develop automation scripts for Discovery and Service Mapping patterns.Support & Enablement : - Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to business users and administrators.- Deliver post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ITSM, SecOps, DevOps) to ensure seamless integration and adoption.Required Skills & Qualifications : - 7+ years of ServiceNow development/implementation experience with a minimum 4+ years in ITOM.Mandatory hands-on expertise in : - ServiceNow CMDB (design, population, reconciliation, CI health)- ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Observability, Cloud Insights)- ServiceNow Connected Ops (Cloud & Infrastructure Observability)- Strong understanding of CSDM framework and CI relationships.- Proficiency in JavaScript scripting, API integrations (REST/SOAP), and ServiceNow automation tools.- Deep knowledge of infrastructure, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and networking concepts.- Experience working in Agile delivery models with tools like JIRA or ServiceNow Agile.- Excellent communication and documentation skills to interface with business stakeholders, architects, and operations teams.Preferred Skills : - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) ITOM or related certifications.- Experience with Event Management integrations (e., Splunk, SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Prometheus).- Knowledge of ServiceNow AIOps and Machine Learning-driven Observability.- Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD integrations, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).- Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise IT governance frameworks (ref:hirist.tech)
