About the Role:

- New Business Development of agri-commodities (Rice).

- Conducting market research to identify trends, pricing fluctuations, and demand-supply dynamics in the agricultural commodities market.

- Assessment of global opportunities.

- Commercial negotiation & order finalization.

- Developing strategic relationship with stakeholders Negotiating contracts with suppliers, buyers, and intermediaries for the purchase and sale of agricultural commodities.

- Monitoring performance in quality, cost & delivery.

- Coordination with the logistics and finance team & ensuring smooth operations.

- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, trade laws, and industry standards governing the trade of agricultural commodities.

- Previous experience with International business / Exports in a company with a sizeable business ( > 100cr business per annum).

- Prior experience in working in markets of Middle East, Africa & South East Asia.

- In-depth knowledge of Rice( basmati and nonbasmati) as a commodity & international market.

- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Powerpoint & MS Excel.

- Preferred relevant experience of 5-7 years.

- Candidates with an MBA degree will be preferred.

- Strong negotiation skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
