Serving over 2,300 brands, Fynd is at the forefront of retail technology, transforming customer experiences and business processes across various industries.We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Tax & Compliance who combines deep business acumen with hands-on expertise in taxation and compliance. The role demands ownership of Direct Tax (DT), Indirect Tax (GST), statutory compliance, and international taxation, Import Process, Export Process while also driving strategic financial planning to support rapid business growth.What will you do at Fynd?International Taxation:- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations, oversee TP documentation, and manage assessments.- Manage withholding tax compliance (payments to non-residents, DTAA benefits).- Oversee cross-border transaction structuring from a tax perspective.- Support and ensure BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) reporting, CbCR, and FATCA/CRS requirements.Export & Import Compliance:- Oversee preparation and accuracy of Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Shipping Bills.- Ensure timely filing of SOFTEX forms.- Coordinate with banks for EBRC issuance and monitor LC compliance.- Manage and track export incentives, ensuring proper claims.- Oversee Bill of Entry, customs clearance through ICEGATE, coordination with CHA, payment of duties (BCD, IGST, SWS), and ensure FEMA and RBI compliance for sourcing.Goods and Services Tax (GST):- Ensure timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns.- Manage GST audits and oversee reconciliation between books and GST returns.- Oversee GST refund claims, input tax credit (ITC) reconciliations, and responses to notices from GST authorities.- Monitor changes in GST laws and ensure organizational compliance.Income Tax:- Oversee preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns.- Support and ensure tax audit (Form 3CD, 3CA/3CB) and statutory audit requirements.- Manage computation of advance tax, TDS compliance, and quarterly returns.- Oversee tax assessments, queries, and notices.STPI Compliance:- Ensure timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, SOFTEX forms for exports, and resolution of queries with STPI authorities.- Oversee EBRC realization and compliance for both STPI and non-STPI units.General Compliance & Advisory:- Monitor amendments in tax laws and provide impact analysis to management.- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities to ensure smooth compliance.- Support and oversee automation of compliance processes for efficiency.- Prepare and present MIS reports on tax matters for management review.Some specific Requirements:- Professional Qualification: CA/CMA with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.- Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of DT & GST compliance, accounting standards, Import, Expor,t and financial reporting.- Industry Exposure: Experience in tech, e-commerce, retail, garment industry, hardware sale or marketplace businesses preferred.- Mindset: Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.- Extra Edge: Exposure to IPO readiness, corporate restructuring, or international taxation.What do we knows no bounds, as we foster an environment that encourages creativity, embraces challenges, and cultivates a culture of continuous expansion.
