Position Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head our Sustainability Services division. The Business Head will focus on driving services related to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance, sustainability reporting frameworks such as BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting), and other critical sustainability solutions across various industries.


This role requires a visionary leader with expertise in sustainability, regulatory frameworks, and business development, capable of positioning the company as a trusted partner for organizations seeking to achieve their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic Leadership & Business Development:

•Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for sustainability services, focusing on EPR compliance, BRSR reporting, and other sustainability solutions.

•Identify new business opportunities and build strategic partnerships with clients across industries like FMCG, packaging, electronics, automotive, and manufacturing.

•Spearhead market entry strategies for emerging sustainability services and solutions.

•Drive revenue growth by expanding the client base and offering innovative sustainability frameworks.


2. Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR):

•Oversee and manage the delivery of EPR compliance services for various industries, ensuring clients meet their legal and sustainability obligations.

•Provide expertise on evolving EPR policies, state-level regulations, and reporting requirements.

•Develop and implement waste management and resource recovery solutions to help clients achieve circular economy goals.

•Lead data collection, analysis, and documentation for EPR-related audits and regulatory filings.


3. Sustainability Reporting (BRSR, ESG):

•Assist organizations in implementing Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) and other ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).

•Guide clients on materiality assessments, sustainability KPIs, and actionable ESG roadmaps.

•Oversee the preparation of sustainability reports that align with regulatory and stakeholder expectations.

•Provide strategic insights for organizations to enhance ESG performance and disclosure.


4. Sustainability Solutions & Advisory:

•Develop and deliver bespoke solutions on sustainability strategy, ESG compliance, resource efficiency, and carbon neutrality.

•Stay ahead of industry-specific sustainability trends, policies, and emerging global frameworks.

•Guide clients in adopting best practices around circular economy, decarbonization, and responsible resource use.

•Foster innovation in sustainability services to create measurable and long-term impact for clients.


5. Team Development & Leadership:

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of sustainability consultants and professionals.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence to deliver client success.

• Drive knowledge sharing within the team to build expertise in emerging sustainability topics and tools.


6. Client Relationship Management:

•Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.

•Act as a trusted advisor for sustainability strategies and compliance matters.

•Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and industry forums to enhance market presence and thought leadership.


Key Skills and Competencies

•Deep expertise in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance and waste management strategies.

•Strong understanding of BRSR reporting frameworks and global sustainability reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD,   CDP).

•Demonstrated ability to scale sustainability consulting services and achieve revenue growth.

•Excellent understanding of ESG principles, corporate sustainability, and emerging sustainability policies.

•Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.

•Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to deliver measurable impact.

•Excellent communication and presentation skills.


Qualifications and Experience

•Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Management, or related fields.

•10+ years of experience in sustainability services, environmental compliance, or ESG consulting.

•Proven track record in delivering EPR compliance, BRSR reporting, and other sustainability solutions for diverse industries.

•Experience in leading teams, building new service lines, and driving revenue growth.
