Position Overview

Head of SMB - Merchant, Growth

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

P&L Responsibility- Ownership for budget 100cr annual budget, is responsible for creating pipeline

for team expansion. Build PAN India Market, acquire merchants on scale on Digital Platforms /

Digital Marketing.

Build an effective ecommerce support function - Develop and execute digital strategy, including

planning, building, high performing sales function, managing a team of 800 resources. Leads growth

function by proposing B2B campaigns. Laser sharp focus and out of the box thinker

Strategic Sales Engine Focus - Partners with development team and management to improve

seller/customer acquisition model, drive healthy quarterly subscription and renewals. Co-create

business plans, subscription models for end customers.

Measurement- Analyze campaign outcomes and show a positive return on investment from digital

channels as measured by KPIs such as Cost Per Engagement, Net Sentiment Growth and Cost per

acquisition.

Your Role at Large

People Leadership

● Lead, develop and retain a diverse function within the sales business unit, ownership of

FTEs deployment in each function.

● Embed a culture of data driven decision making, self-organizing & empowered teams, and

product management excellence

● Role model the behaviors of an Enterprise Leader – working across markets, functions and

teams, ensuring clear accountabilities for all and optimizing value creation for the total

Company

P&L Leadership

● Lead business function, consolidation of fragmented market with aspirational goals of hitting

80,000 merchants by 2024


● Travel willingness, decrypt Middle East and US markets


Program Leadership

● Leading Sales efforts for India region and to focus on APAC

● To engage high valued sellers in their backend operation of major E-commerce

marketplaces, Responsible for delivering business targets through channel partners

● Driving the capability building plan with partners by ensuring timely trainings for various

parameters

● Review, Interpret & Mapping business requirements of clients to ensure alignment between

customer expectation & current capability of Solution

● A strategic planner with proven track record of demand generation and conversation for New

& Existing Clients, managing sales & service operations

● Identify and recruit channel partners by doing Strategic Partnerships. Preparing SOW for

proposed solutions.

● APAC Driving Digital Marketing Strategies for lead generation and brand building (Lead

generation Cold calling, cold visits, Email Campaign, References, Webinars) Supporting and

motivating the sales team of the region to achieve targets
