Position Overview:


This position is for Sisu Axles business under Marmon’s “Transportation products” group. Sisu Axles is looking for a highly motivated Techno Commercial Lead. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise in heavy axle systems with a commercial mindset to drive business development, manage customer relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of axle solutions for defence sector and armoured vehicles, mining vehicles etc. This role involves collaborating with clients, sales teams, and engineering departments to provide tailored axle solutions that meet technical and commercial requirements.

Required Qualifications:


  • Experienced professional in a techno-commercial/sales role within the automotive, or off-road vehicle industry, with specific experience related to axles or drivetrains being highly preferred (minimum 6 – 10 years’ experience).
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field, MBA or any additional qualifications in business management will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in managing sales and technical projects with OEMs, distributors, or end-users in defence sectors, armoured vehicles, construction, mining, agricultural, or related sectors.
  • Well-developed negotiation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty off-road axle systems, including suspension, drivetrain integration, load capacities, torque requirements, and durability factors.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical data sheets.
  • Strong experience in contract negotiations, pricing strategy development, and profitability analysis.
  • Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess both technical and commercial issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
